MLK day
« on: 17 January 2006, 01:14 »
In order to celebrate this day off to remember Martin Luther King Jr, I watched Chris Rock's "Bring the Pain" dvd and wore my Public Enemy t-shirt.

Anybody else do anything festive?  I know it's not really a celebrational holiday, but we here in the United States need to be constantly reminded of how fucked up we are.  As Sista Souljah described him - "a black man who tried to teach white people the meaning of civilization".

Much as I respect MLK, fuck your stupid holidays and celebrations.

I got drunk and dressed up as Mr. T. For no particular reason.
Thankyouplease
