As to the security it supposedly has limited accounts but there are two issues there. One it doesnt start you off with one, so the average joe who actually needs something like that wont know how on earth to do it.

Also (dont quote me on this) but the emulator that handles backwards compatability with prelonghorn apps isnt usable from a limited account.

Which to me sounds retarded. But who knows maybe they will smarted up before release.

What version did you use? Did it fit only on A DVD? Is it x64 bit?
I'm just curious because Microsoft said the final release will be these...

Yeah, DVD but I dont think it was 64bit. Well my release wasnt. I wish it had been though...
