Universal Widgets?
(1/1)
sjor:
Today, browsing Apple's widget online thingy, many of the widgets are marked 'Universal'.
I downloaded it and compared it to a normal widget. They're the same, so significant differences.
I was wondering, whats the difference in a Universal widget and a normal widget? Or does it matter?
Refalm:
This is probably wrong, but I think universal widgets are probably for PPC and Intel.
piratePenguin:
Or maybe they're for KDE4? :p (probably not)
I think KDE4 intends on working with Apple widgets. Is there a standard/spec for them?

Widgets have no compiled code, so you wouldn't need a universal version.
hm_murdock:
That doesn't stop people from advertising it!
