Trojans! Yay!
DarkTan:
I got problems. My dad's compter managed to contract a virus named "Trojan horse.Downloader.Generic.UEO" file name "ounjd.exe." He's running Microsuck XP with Grisoft Free AVG and can't get rid of the virus or find the original file. Does anyone know how to get rid of it?
piratePenguin:
Yea, format the drive and install GNU/Linux ;)
Dark_Me:
*ahem*
Now come closer. Closer. Closer.

Hehe ... I know what they're gonna say ...

--- End quote ---
Anyway yes ... there are actually 2 steps:
1) Install Linux (repeat until it works in case of failiure)
2) Virus Killer will take care of that virus quick and ez ... but it takes skillz (yeah it kinda gets boring after a while)
WMD:
Boot into safe mode, run regedit, and find all references to it. Delete them.
