Ahhhh ... I see ... there's a big difference between needing te rewrite 60% or more of the code and actually caring enough to do so ;)

MS have already written an OS and it isn't that bad either (as far as the NT kernel goes), but now all they're doing is adding some minor enhancements and wrapping it with shit so it'll end up more buggy in the end.

They haven't rewritten more than half their code since ms-dos. just added more and more ms-bs;)
