Webmasters, Microsoft feels your pain

Any webmaster or web developer that has tried to work with web standards will tell you of the countless hours they've spent trying to work around Internet Explorer bugs, banging their head against the desk, while it just works with the minimum of tweaks in other browsers. I've personally written pages where it's taken longer to work around these bugs than it did to write the original page in the first place. Well Microsoft's own developers feel our pain. Hahahah ... I wonder why webmasters put up with this shit ... well I suppose there are economic constraints on them ...

You see ... if only people would give a fuck about everything, everything would be a lot better. If people actually cared to be at least moderately enlightened to how things around them work ... to realise than M$ IS FUCKING BULLSHIT ... and not just live with it ... deal with it ... put up with it. Why do people put up with this shit ? It's because they don't care. They don't give a fuck about anything ! Or maybe they're all zombies ... the zombification process is complete (this includes brainwashing, propaganda, mass media) ... oh, well ... and they say they need answers ... feed them brains

When writing the header and footer files for my ofp.toadlife.net site, the one browser that actually gave me the most problems was *Opera*.

My code was 100% html 4.01 compliant according to wc3.org, and IE and Firefox rendered it the same but Opera completely kludged it up. I spent hours tweaking the code, writing the same thing four or five different ways until Opera finally rendered it properly.
:)

Opera 9 (which comes out next month) is fully XHTML 1.0 and CSS 2 compliant, so that problem is solved.

I've had some problems with Opera too, but that was only because Firefox and IE automatically corrected my faulted code.
Opera doesn't accept that, and displays the page like you coded it.
