That's actually working hard to make it fuck up. Everyone ought to have figured out by now that Windows only cares a fuck about the boot sector during installation. After the installer has left the building, you can do whatever you like (metaphorically) to the boot sector, and Windows doesn't care. Now, when (not if,
when) you have to reinstall Windows, that's when it gets tricky. Having a boot disk for your Linux is crucial at that point, so you can get in and rebuild your grub after Windows deletes it.
