Anything I should know before I start? I'm going to install it on a blue G3 300 with 128MB of RAM.

Sorry, I don't feel like giving up the dual 500 G4 (recent acquisition) to Linux just yet :p

worker201:
You should know that finding software that you don't have to build yourself will be difficult.  Other than that, good luck, report any issues.

hm_murdock:
Well, I'm doing it mostly for experimentation's sake.

I decided to use the network install method... I get the feeling I didn't do something right. They say something about hitting F3 and F4 to select the install protocol at the bootscreen, and I didn't. I let it boot to the menu, and then began the network install there. So far, it's gotten to loading YaST2 twice and hung.

It seems to be doing something this time. We'll see.

WMD:
I did a net install once and it was incredibly slow - not to mention that it took several tries to get it right.

Laukev7:
I tried to make a netboot cd for my new Beige G3 but it just crashes when I try to boot it with BootX.
