A few years ago, a group started making a Halo-based RTs as a mod for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour. Completely free, nonprofit, not even charity donations accepted.

A few days ago, Microsoft fired off a cease-and-desist letter, ordering them to shut down.

Halogen called their bluff, and won. They are stil moving forward.

Take that, Bill!

MS issue aside, this makes me want to actually A) buy C&C Generals and B) get this, as it looks like A) amazing and B) something i'd actually play (and I've only played Halo, and don't know the storyline all that well...)
