Let's make a list of why Windows sucks

I dread to think what this will be like on computers with more than one processor. I'll bet that all of the processors will have to take this resource drain too.

Halo doesn't run too bad on my 1.8 ghz AMD Sempron, and it really doesn't hang over too much after running. It's 3DS Max, using the Mental Ray renderer that hogs a lot of CPU work that could be cut in half easily on a dual core. Games are really not all that bad on Windows, if you have a good enough system.

those PS2 emulators are crap on even the niceset machines. max out at 5fps

Emulation is very inefficient, you need a host machine that's typically >10 times as powerful as the one you're emulating. Look at the specification for the PS2 and you'll see that modern PCs are still not powerful enough to emulate it at a reasonable speed,

Another fault with Windows to add to this list. Just have a look at the thread '"Security" update causes IE6 to crash'. Microsoft have sunk to a new low. No wonder some people are choosing to give Windows to the flames and go for an alternate system instead when it comes to security, cost and stability.

That freakin paper clip. So annoying.

I love that paper clip. On every computer I encounter that has Office 2003 or lower, I activate it, because it makes people annoyed of Office.

Office 2007 doesn't have the paperclip, but that's compensated by an unworkable interface.

I heard on Amazon that in Office 2007 it takes longer to do even simple things now, and the colouring of the interface makes it difficult for most people to read or identify data, even those who do not have vision problems. Things that took one click with Office 2003 now take around three or four.
I thought the point of releasing a new version was to simply update it and allow it to work on Vista? You know the old saying: 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it'. Pity Microsoft don't pay attention to this and change things just for the sake of change.

I haven't used Office 2007 but 2003 was supposed to be the best version.

I can see why. Office 2007 looks like the computer decided to vomit up a bunch of buttons. 2003 is actually organized.

Yes, I think I've seen that before, it looks annoying that the top toolbar takes up on third of the screen. Surely there must be a way to set it back to the classic veiw? I can't believe Microsoft would do something this stupid.
