Picturing Dave Chappele saying this :)

"PostScript printer driver" sounds like something this guy found on a forWindows install disc.  Which would explain why it didn't work.  Linux should be able to speak PostScript all by itself.  Connecting a PostScript printer to a usable port is pretty much the only step required.

True, but you can get more features and better performance if you load a more specific .ppd file into CUPS for the postscript printer.  .ppd files work in windows and linux... they plug into the postscript printer system.  Maybe that's what this knucklehead meant.

shell was coded so sloppily, that every now and then a menu doesnt dissappear

_LiquidOxygen:
Kernel32 was coded as stupidly, particularly in Windows Mistake Edition - you wouldn't be able to go a week without a bloody Kernel error appearing.
I'd like to add another reason why Windows sucks: it crashes and you receive errors without having ever done anything to upset the Kernel department.

piratePenguin:
With each new release, the user interface changes considerably, to the point that users fear Windows upgrades.

Compare that to OS X, for example (if they could just afford it, everyone would upgrade).

Windows is going to fail.
