Special Icon In Favourites?

(1/1)

loopers:
When we add a particular webpage to favourites, how can we made a special icon appear in the favourites too, instead of just the normal display of html icon?

KernelPanic:
I guess it just uses the cached favicon.ico but I reckon www.windowsbbs.com might hole the answer...

Notice the title of this page is : Microsoft Eradication Society Forums.

Theirs is: Windows BBS - The Place for Microsoft Windows Support!

Master of Reality:
holy shit your even using internet explorer.. did you really think this was the best place to get help??? Go get Mozilla

zooloo:
As Opera 7 Beta uses Favicons it's not quite fair to dismiss it as MS.

1.  Use a favicon editor - I use Iconshop.  It's free and from users.pandora.be/liontech/

2. Add code to <head>  <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico">

Name the file favicon and it gets picked up by some browsers.

Gooseberry Clock:
They're called favicons. Mozilla has a similar feature, I'll have more info soon.
