hiding behind subdomains

I saw an offer for free coffee at a certain donut chain. They wanted name, address, phone and email. It's probably legit, but the url can't be checked on WhoIs because it's a double hxxp://dunkinathome.safeprocessing.com

It might be easy enough for a crook to buy a subdomain there and cause all sorts of trouble. Is there a free lookup that can get the info on the owner of the subdomain?

When I create a subdomain myself, I don't need to supply any information, so no, there is no whois information on subdomains.
