Yahoo wants me to "upgrade" the browser in my G4.

Oh, sorry.

Wait a minute, I'll just change my user-agent string.

Well, what do you know!

Of course, renaming an .exe file to .dmg might not work exactly as planned.

Thanks for leaving your address in the screencap - I'm going to add you to every spam list I can find.

davidnix71:
That's okay Worker. It's fun surfing bad sites from a PPC. I even found a worm written just for OSX on a fake pr0n site, diguised as a flash player dmg. I didn't run it. It was only 24kb. It changes your dns lookup and sets a cron job in case you try to delete it

Lead Head:
I found this too on my Yahoo as well. I think it is very odd, especially after the "falling out" Microsoft and Yahoo just had.

worker201:
I think Yahoo very much wants to do longterm business with Microsoft.  I just don't think they wanted Microsoft be the only one to make money out of the deal.  Microsoft's short-term offer didn't match Yahoo's long-term predictions, which is why they declined.  The 2 still have to work together in order to compete with Google, it's just that the money will be split between 2 companies now.
