Damned if they do and damned when they don't
Calum:
no, why should i?
your stock response will be that you don't care about the historical issues.
sorry if my tone is a bit short today, it's not your fault, but that aside, comments about how you don't care about the history of an issue, when you are clearly prepared to put forward opinions on that same issue, really put me off.
and i didn't threaten you with anything. keep your accusations to yourself.
worker201:
I never said I didn't care about the history of an issue. I said I wasn't going to take the time to do a lot of research into the issue before beginning the discussion. Normally I do that. But for whatever reasons, I decided not to devote a few extra hours into looking at the specifics of the browser wars. Instead, I just went with what I remembered. If that bothers you, that I have decided just this once not to do a lot of background research before responding to a topic, well there ain't much I can do for you.
Calum:
ok, sorry i misunderstood you.
it doesn't bother me that you take that approach, it just bothered me a little that i thought you were saying you would discuss an issue but refused to do any relevant research.
