Crow and Kitten are Friends

Amazing video which proves that humans aren't the only animals who are capable of caring for other species. This could be the crow's paternal instinct or maybe it has the ability for empathy as crows are some of the most intelligent birds, who knows?

Unfortunately the story doesn't have a happy ending.  :'(

You actually see this type of thing quite often. Many animals can recognize when another animal of a different species is very young and helpless, and they'll often become an adoptive parent for it. Dogs and Kittens are quite common. I believe there is also a Dog and Duck out there somewhere as well. There was also a Gorilla that had a pet cat.

Too bad about the can running away though.

Yes, dogs and kittens, a gorilla and a cat but they're all mammals. What surprised me is the crow didn't eat the kitten when it was smaller, a three month old rat sized kitten would make a nice meal for a hungry crow, the kitten's cuteness saved it.
