Agreed, he's acting like a spoilt kid, "You disagree with me so you're a stupid inbred cunt"
Kintaro:
For the same reason that you feel disgusted when you see a copy of Atlas Shrugged - that unnamed and mindless feeling - is the same thing that prevents Worker201 from ever opening HIS mind.
I was a socialist once you faggots, that is what you all forget. Once I agreed with all of you, the only person who can change your minds is you. I am just going to tell you all what you really are now: worthless. (Aloone, not you, you're a cool old electronics wizz kid before everything came on nice black chips and done for me)
Worker201, quit your bullshit truck unloading job and get on welfare. As an Objectivst, this would be less of a sacrafice, to live on a stolen means and to do twice as much programming and actual work worthy of you would be far better than what you are doing now. The welfare state is huge, it takes time, but it is worth it if you want to be anywhere at the moment. Otherwise, you'll be stuck, there is a former member of this forum now that is a slave to higher tax brackets, he would hire you but health insurance regulation would send him bust.
Taxes are too high, become a thief yourself, its not worth destroying yourself over.
Until then, I don't care what you say, you are just an unfortunate man who blames it on everything around him. Only you are to blame, leave this forum and get a life. Your code isn't that bad, its mostly just coding grammar and small shit. You could be someone, and that just pisses me off. Fuck you, rotter by choice. Do something with your life.
Kintaro:
Note: tenses change quite incorrectly in that post. It is too the public and worker, might have made things confusing.

I'm kind of offended he hasn't insulted me, probably because I'm not important enough.

You actually just deserve respect. You a model citizen of the Internet and I commend you.

I couldn't give a fuck about Linux or FOSS and I can sympathise with your view about people who use Windows but preach Linux being hypocritical. I don't like Microsoft but I don't hate them any more than any other big corporation. I don't think Linux is much good as a desktop (certainly not the flavours I've tried) but it must be a decent server otherwise it wouldn't be so popular.
As far as the quality of MS software, it's highly variable some is good, some is shit but as far as I'm concerned cost effectiveness is more important. Windows may be expensive to buy separately but it's cheap for OEM so buying it with a new machine is not a problem. MS Office and especially MS Works are a waste of money because there's OpenOffice which does everything I need and is free.
Now where I do sympathise with the FOSS crowd is file formats. I don't mind proprietary software and think it's a good thing but I think being able to patent a format is a bad thing as well as formats which are a trade secret. The reason for this is not only due to interoperability issues but also the fact that if you save your work in a propitiatory format, it's no longer completely yours, a part of it is now property by the party who owns the file format. There's also no way of knowing what's saved in the file, there could be all sorts of personal information you provided to the software company when you purchased/registered the software so it's a privacy issue too.
I've just learnt to use a PCB CAD called Eagle. It comes in several versions: a free one which has severe restrictions on board size, layers etc., a standard version which is still crippled but less so and a non-crippled professional version. The restrictions are enforced using a licence file and a key which are somehow encoded into every file you save with it which is a privacy issue and has been known to cause problems for those who use a keygen and crack to pirate it.
I'm doing an experiment, I've downloaded the free version of Eagle and have used a crack to get the professional version. The good thing is, it's not only a keygen and licence file generator but it's also patched the exe files which should mean I won't have any problems with is scrambling files saved with it. The utility has backed up the old files and I've written a batch file to rename the files so I can switch back and fourth between the free and cracked versions and I'm only saving files I don't care about to with the cracked version. Fortunately the files saved with the cracked version open in the free version but I'm told that the problems start when you upgrade to the next version so I'll wait and see.
I also use LTSpice which is also proprietary but the files created by it are plain text and are well documented to it's not a problem. It's also free and is designed to work perfectly under Wine so works under Linux too.
