will that disk change domain passwords or just local passwords?

ntchange password changes the SAM file on the local disk not over the network.  Be carefull, if you screw up the SAM ... well just dont do it.

The images for the 4 standard w2k boot disks are located on the win2k install cd in the directory "BOOTDISK".
