Yeah well, add it to the "millions of reasons why Windows is shit list." OK, go to a folder in a Windows OS. Make a file. Call it com1. Woops... Try again and make a file called, oh I dunno, lpt1... You can have about 1 to 2 minutes of fun trying to work out what Unix devices you cant name files as... Apparently it has no central device folder so it just lets you reference devices from anywhere... Thus no creating files that look like device names.
Now for someone to tell me whether we can get a copy C:/con/con type thing going from this...
