Rate the OSes you've used in each family based on experience.

5 = Poor
4 = Crappy
3 = Shitty [A bit more crappier than crappy]
2 = What the fuck were they smoking?
1 = What happened to my stores of drainO?
-inf = Typical...  :D
--

Win9x:
Win 95 v2 = 1
Win 98 FE = 1 // Win95 v2 + crash_every(4s)
Win 98 SE = 1.00001 // Win95 v2 + crash_every(8s)
  :rolleyes:
Win ME = -inf   :mad:

WinNT:
Win NT 3.51 - 2
Win NT 4 - 1
Win 2000 = -inf [Clicking on Disk Cleanup for NTFS partitions is like suicide   :D]

Now you do this, and in a fair manner too.  :D

hahaa nice.

95 = 2 . . this gets a 2 just cause it was a good step up from 3.1.
w98 = .5 . . 98's a bitch.  become obsolete.
win me = .6 . . it's better than 98, i guess.
win nt = -inf . . i hate you
win 2k = 3.5 . . it's not unix, but it's than the others.
win xp = -inf . . die!

WinME fucked up my partitions, so I had to format & fdisk it AGAIN, then I installed 2000 and recopied all the backup data off 50 something CD-RWs.

Win2000 is a memory hog. I'm probably going to fuck windows and put RedHat 7.1 on the system + KDE for the language packs.

Win2k isn't a bad OS. Not nearly as bad as the Win9X line. Roomy has it installed.. I use it now and then.

To bad they had to fuck it up when they released XP.

DOS - 2
WIN 3.1/3.11 - 2
WIN95 - 1
WIN98 FE/SE - -inf (what do you mean I have to take out 512mb out of my pc because you can't cope with 512mb+ ram?)
WIN ME - -inf (let's take win98, let it crash more and let the boys ovr at marketing slap some name on it)
WIN XP - -inf (NO I'M NOT A MORON WHO KNOWS SH*T ABOUT COMPUTERS THANK YOU VERY MUCH, NOW F*CK OFF WITH YOUR WIZARD)
If you can't learn to do something well, learn to enjoy doing it poorly.

They all suck (1), except for Win98 it gets a 2 because it has the highest compatibility.
I'm now using Windows .NET Server which also sucks.
