Hidden Files
« on: 6 August 2002, 19:04 »
I was wondering if anyone could tell me where and how can I find MS Word hidden files ?? I was told that there is a way of finding these backup files of the original files through DOS.

Well Im not sure wether this is true or not, so I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this.

Im running Windows 98 and MS Office.

Thanks for any help or advice.

first, they are catalogued through a program called "findfast" and it is not just yer word files.

the only other files aside from the ones you delete are the "recent" ones and autosaves.

there are some posts in here about this somewhere, i'll look... you should remove findfast and the files in the recent folder
