i have winME, and i seem to remember it having this problem, the secret is to get the free upgrade, available at www.mandrake.com

There's definitely a problem with your keyboard configuration. Why don't you get a real OS? Try Linux and dual boot if you have to ;)

I was reading about this "known issue" in ME on the technet site over at M$...the broblem was located between the users ears.
