Hi...i just came across this site and agree about the whole microsoft thing! Im going to give an alternative OS a try.

What do you recommend??? I have a upto-date comp (XP1500), RAD8500 etc but am after stability and compatiballity mainly as i use my comp for work as well as games...(im a big gamer!).
The one that i am keen on is RedHat Linux.

So come on guys...which one ????

Thanks in advance

P.S Just for info..im using win98SE at the moment.

yup, give freeBSD a try too, it's another free UNIX OS. I haven't tried it, but you might as well have a multiple boot thing going on between a few different OSs,

Check out WineX! http://www.transgaming.com

Granted it's a bias perspective, but maybe you could find out more about it.
Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have found the trillionth easily preventable bug in a Microsoft OS.  You have just won the privlage of being frustrated with an over priced, unreliable OS that makes you conform to its standards.  How does that make you feel?
