look, every time i install windows, the more tweaking i do, the more it fucks up and crashes. there's no point having it if it just crashes. even worse when it starts ruining CDs due to lousy dlls or whatever.
All that configuring is just going to make your windows "OS" crash and burn. either get used to it spying on you, or get a real OS that doesn't.
surprisingly linux does not spy on you, and neither does BSD. i don't think MacOS does either to my knowledge, and BeOS probably doesn't either, i have never heard of it doing so.
You windows fanatics always think turning off the phone home stuff is so clever, get an OS that doesn't phone home in the first place! the only reason i go on the internet using windows is because my crappy "software" modem didn't auto install in linux, and i haven't had time to install it properly yet.
And don't get a crack for zonealarm, it will rip off zonelabs and they won't be able to afford to make a newer version.
Plus, get a free firewall with linux. the free version of zonealarm is good enough for windows anyway, by far.

Heh, if his wife isn't a nasty dorky bitch like all of the Linux chix I'm sure the linuxchix site will do no good. Get a load of this Linux Chic(I wouldn't touch her with a 50 ft' pole with VoidMain at the end of it cause she is so nasty looking, LoL).

I think mandrake is a really nice OS, but seems like its gonna take me awhile to learn it, way too many commands. But hey I have nothing else to do anyways. Its not like my wife will put-out any.
speaking of which I showed her that liunxchix site, I even told her she could have their
t-shirts, she just looked at me like I was crazy or something. ah what the hell she says no to everything anyways.(yea even that)
I think I better stop I am sharing too much.
