How is it that with all the resources available to Microsoft, it took them 4 years to go from NT 4 to NT 5 (Win 2000)? Where the fuck has all that money gone? and Windows XP should've been released in 1998 as the 'convergence of NT/9X'! it's only now that they're boasting about the capabilities of XP which should've been available in 98 (4 fucks sake!)

OK, now that we've gotten that out of your systems for you, we can report that despite what you Microsoft haters would like to hear, Windows XP is simply the best OS that the company has come up with to date. Granted, with recent releases like Windows Me, the bar wasn't so high. But with the release of Windows XP, Microsoft has managed to build upon the stability of Windows 2000, while adding a slew of features that home and business users will likely welcome with open arms.

I know that I often come down hard on Microsoft and Bill Gates in this newsletter. Perhaps it's because I have to use that company's products in my daily work. But I still believe you have to give credit where credit is due. Therefore I want to congratulate Bill and his employees on being the very first commercial software company to generate a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) alert that an operating system (Windows XP) is a threat to computer take- over by hackers. Apparently, users don't have to do anything more sophisticated that just being on the Internet for hackers to gain complete control of their systems.
