New idea, list of why XP sucks!
RedFedora:
I have windows XP (HAVE not LIKE) and i did notice a slow down after the first few months. It also crashes alot. My analysis: Just another microsoft piece of crap. "I never have to reboot, as long as I don't touch it.

I agree too. Before XP was installed, there was no problem with my Pc, when I did, it definitely slowed down and tons of errors appeared. Even Windows automatically end tasking it's own explorer.exe when restarting which resulted in an endless circle of closing and reopening (explorer.exe is designed to reload automatically when closed) until I finally had to trun of the power switch!!!!! And I don't want to waste money by uninstalling XP, so I have to bear with Microsoft funniest piece of joke...

ahh. it would be free & painless to uninstall Xp and put, say, redHat8.0 on the computer. you could even dual boot with windows 2000. (even though you really dont need windows on there at all, it helps with the transition )
Calum:
i recommend windows 3.11, it has the added benefit of not being so insecure as later versions of windows on your network (reason is that it's almost impossible to make it connect to any network!)
