I don't like useing winscum98 can someone please help me get my Suse 7.1 on line so I can autoupdate it,someone tell me how to set up the modem and all that it looks fine but it don't whanna work.I tried a linux forum but it wouldn't let me post anything intil I enabled my cookies and I ain't doing that for no one.

at the shell  just type     yast      or yast2.

Have the modem on and connected and all that and yast will be able to add the new modem noo probs.

Make sure it's not a WinModem External modems are always detected by Linux

well it does seem to be right all the info is in yast2 and I did a check with yast, I don't know whats wrong with it it just keeps saying input output erorr in the dial up info box and it is a rockwell chip set no simulation modems for my beast, but I know it ain't fucked cos I am here using it with bullshit98 and Opera so I am stumpt.

oh and my winshit98 just found a new device when I turned it on today my Epson printer which I have had for about six months, isn't it great.
