I have a dual boot system, win2k on the first hd, linux on the second.  I want to use fdisk but fdisk doesn't work in win2k under the cmd prompt.  How can i fdisk the mbr under win2k?

trc3:
You need to start up from a bootdisk.

use the win98 boot disk and type fdisk /mbr

SAJChurchey:
Win98 BootDisk is always a great thing to have around.

so let me get this straight; to fix this problem in one of the "_"latest and greatest"_" micro$haft os's you need to use something that can only be made with a product that they are discontinuing because it was made old and useless by that (?)new(?) os? makes perfect sense to me.
