I'll cut to the chase: As much as I hate MS, I still use the os. Last week, I blew my top over continuing Iexplore and Explorer errors, and deleted all the files that I could. No big deal, I thought, I would use Netscape or another browser. Well, Netscape will install but it won't register. Same for Mozilla. Anyways, I installed IE6 so I could at least have a browser. Now, some of the sites I got to, like
http://www.swissquake.ch/chumbalum-soft/forum/ I can't see the subject fields. I'd like to delete IE6 so I could try to re-install 5.5 and see if that makes any difference, but like Direct X 8, you apparantly can't uninstall the piece of *^*^! I don't want to have to delete Windows and reinstall, but if that's the only way, so be it.
I know, I know, the best solution is to totally get rid of MS completely but I'm just not ready to deal with the stress of relearning how to do everything all over again like learning how to us Linux would be. Maybe later this year when I have more time to dedicate to it, but I can't do it now.
Can I get some help here?
