remote assistance

(1/1)

istruthfull:
When first hooking-up my broadband, being the newbee that I am, I didn't know how to configure it. Called cable co. and the rep asked my permission to remote configure for me. After it was done I check to see if I had turned off my remote assistance like I thought I had, and it was still off. So I guess they can get into a win xp remotely with the assistance on or off.

istruthfull:
This must have happened before I got 2 firewalls and turned off my DCOM
