Two things:

• 9.2 is user friendlier (no vmlinuz, mounting /dev/hda and stuff, just load bar, improved Wizard, improved desktop, etc.).
• If you install nVidia drivers (I got a GeForce SVGA and a nForce 2 mobo), you have to recompile the kernel, because 9.2 got that weird "LG-compatible" kernel that make the driver installers freak out.

Me neither, I'm not sure if PCs for Kids actually have a web site, all I could find was a phone no.  But I found this:
