Bitter? I'm not bitter. After seeing what Bill Gates and MicroSoft has inflicted upon us. I wish Bill would choke on a cheese sandwich and put us out of his misery.

Saddle Magic, you can also obfuscate the IP address portion of that URL and make it even cooler....

I could post it as a link in HTML, I don't know the UBB code.

I really don't have the time to post it all over the place, help yourself.

Well, I just meant to obfuscate the IP address in the URL like this:
http://www.microsoft.com&item=q209354@3573468885/original.html

Actually the trailing HTML page name could also be obfuscated.  The only problem with obfuscating the IP address is my proxy (Squid) doesn't understand it. But many browsers will accept the obfuscated IP address (it's just the 4 byte IP address converted to decimal). But didn't mean to take away from the humor behind the URL.... Sorry about that.

me too for the same reason, but now i am allowed back on, i find that there are pages and pages of posts there with the word 'linux' in them, so what's the deal? i suggest writing to [email protected] and ask them what's going on politely. hopefully they will be shamed into letting you back on. i read their TOS and there's nothing in it about software preferences, basically it's all regulations against antisocial behaviour.
