Uninstall Lookout Express and then no one can view your email.

I think you are very childish. I will keep on posting on this forum as long as my discussion is something related to computers. I won't argue with you anymore. You are such a jerk and a childish person ... you even waste so much of time quarelling instead of speaking something useful.

loopers.. we are the MICROSOFT ERADICATION SOCIETY. are you that fucking stupid that you come to a site where EVERYBODY is talking shit about windows/microsoft and praising open source and freedom, and expect us to help you with an outlook express problem?? the best solution is to get rid of outlook, and install something better. again, we are the MICROSOFT ERADICATION SOCIETY, not joe blows tech support for the illiterate.
with that said, id suggest using something like mozilla, it has a very nice email client. and then whomever is using your computer can continue to use outlook, while you enjoy the freedom of mozilla. as for securing your email, format your "c" drive and install linux. that way you can keep microsoft from looking at your email as well.

I honestly believe that he/she doesn't understand the meaning of the word "eradication". And I can't figure out why his/her previous posts here have returned similar replies referring him/her to http://www.windowsbbs.com/ (but in a nicer way), where people are drooling all over themselves to give bad advice to such a poor sap, that he doesn't follow said advice. This is the kind of response he/she can expect from me until he/she is ready to give something other that Micro$hit a try.
Someone please remove this account. Thanks...

Loopers, I will try to help you with your problem.  The truth is, even if you do come up with some sort of password protection for outlook express, there is a high chance that the mail could be leaked out.  Outlook Expresshas been knows as one of the least secure programs on the market.  The best way for you to ensure people can't read your mail is to use a different mail client.  There is one called Evolution that works almost exactly like Lookout Express, but is much much more secure.  Changing mail clients might not be as hard as you think.  If you are willing to try this, and arn't sure how, just ask, you'll have secure e-mail in a jiffie.  In the long run it is the only way, and yes this will require you to do exactly what void main said.

well, as voidmain said, lookout is in no way shape or form secure. a different mail client would be in order if security was a must.

How many times do you have to be told

READ THE FUCKING MANUAL

It's easily available, I know I am forced to use accursed software. One of the reasons I got fed up with Windows is that it panders to ignorance. I am pissed off with having to tell people how to do simple shit like that.

Fuck if you can't figure it out then you are too stupid to be using a computer.

This site is not a forum for computers it is a forum about removing the crack addiction of M$.

I assume you're not using Windows 2000 or XP because both of those are multiuser (to some extent)  But why bother upgrading to them when you can get Linux, create your own private user account (and a guest account for other people) and then nobody can pry into your email.  If you don't like my suggestion then I'm sorry.  Like people said this *is* the MS Eradication Society.  Practically all of our answers to Windows questions are going to be "quit using Windows."  So excuse us if our solutions to Windows problems are unsatisfactory to you.  We're under no moral obligation to be anyone's Windows Help Desk, just like Microsoft won't help you with setting up Apache.

Eradication is a very important concept to understand. In the Might and Magic series, Eradication costs a shitload of money to get revived from, far more then just getting revived from "dead" status. You can imagine how that severity of work applies to our feelings for Microsoft.

Oh and if you want security then you really must go Linux, or Mac(?)(tags one of the mac fanatics)?. Windows allows script kiddies to exsist and it allows master crackers to be gods, capable of beating ANY Windows security imaginable. This is because Windows is horribly insecure at heart. It is so bad that you can say "fuck exploits and weak points", if you can program good and have read up on Windows, you can do as you please.

Apple's OS X Mail app is better than Lookout Express, and Lookout XP.

Both are junk, and Apple Mail is actually NeXT Mail, and therefore kicks the Holy Living Fuck out of what Micro$haft makes.

Microsoft makes shitty stuff! HA HA HA HA!!!
Go the fuck ~
