Well that made my day.  I got that link in a e-mail that I had to post in about 12 different forums because I thought it was the greatest idea ever!

Just think, with that ad WE would be able to charge M$ to run their OS!  Surely, I wouldn't even think of paying them to advertise something!

Wow, I had forgotten about that MSIE active desktop crap... I disabled it so *$%&ing fast after I saw it.

Man......if I drank a beer for every BSOD I encountered my liver would have packed itself in years ago. Heh.....there's an idea for a new drinking game.......the Microsoft error drinking game. You'd need a shitload of beer though.

I've always fouund Active Desktops to be unstable as fuck, and I always simply convert all of my background to bmp's before putting them on.

(unfortuniatly, until I get rid of this joke of a video card, I can't reliably use XWindows)
