Except for a fucked-up interface, huge bugs, frequent crashes, massive bloating, huge price-tag,lack of open source code, the un-uninstallable Internet Explorer, no MS-DOS prompt, and all of the M$ made spyware that comes with it, Windows XP is great!

Huge bugs, fucked up interface(after turning off the Fisher price stuff), bloatedness, frequent crashes... proveable?

What do you guys think of the argument that faulty(or diskliked) hardware, and bad setup settings, can cause windows to crash?

All I know for sure is that XP is quite stable on my comp. If it was more buggy and bloated than W98, wouldn't it crash just as much?

this thread is very wrong!
ecsyle says he likes windows, and qhatever died up the quirk's ass last week is turning in its grave, not to mention HPC guy saying XP is some sort of atonement for windows ME, when it seems obvious to me that it's simply more of the same punishment...

next we'll have void main coming in here asking us for help setting up his new IIS server!!!!

okay. let me clarify. when i am forced to use windows, i will will choose 2000. i like 2000 the most out of all versions of windows. that doesnt mean i enjoy using it. it just means that i would rather use 2000 over xp. then again, id rather use jaguar over 2000 any day
2000 doesnt crash as much as xp does. but i still have a log i kept where i had like 20+ bluescreens in 2000 on day. that was fun    i should find it and post it. hilarious.

Or, you could use Windows 3.11

I don't remember that crashing at all!  Certainly Windows 1.0 didn't!
