What I find most interesting about this whole thing is that Winblows Lusers are always whining about how "arrogant" Linux people are for believing that Winders is strictly for idiots.    

Now we have this post from someone who seems hell-bent on proving just what idiots do, in fact, use Winders.   :eek:  

Since this post appeared on a Linux site, could it be some Linux person posing as an idiot Winders user?    

And yet, this kind of stupidity is easy to find on boards dedicated to Winders. So far, I have yet to see any Linux user making such idiotic posts on any forum of any type.

it's ok to say Windows sucks and people who say Linux sucks are ignorant but it's very wrong to say that Windows users are all stupid, that's like me saying all Linux users are homosexual.

Sure it may be wrong to say that "all" Windows users are stupid. But I don't think it would be wrong to say that "most" Windows users are stupid. I, however, would not use that particular word. I would say "most" Windows users, in fact "nearly all" Windows users are "ignorant".

What percentage of Windows users have ever used anything "other" than Windows? I would be willing to bet it is in the 0% to 10% range. That would make most Windows users ignorant by definition.  

Now what percentage of Linux users have ever used an OS "other" than Linux?  I would be willing to bet very close to 100%, in fact I would not be surprised if it was exactly 100%.  It would be fairly safe to say that there are "no" ignorant Linux users.

We are not saying ALL winderz users are idiots (it just rolls off the tongue so easily).
But in general, the vast winderz user demographic tends to make comments that make them seem as such.

Plus, if a person happens to be an idiot, or dipshit, they definitely should use winderz.

microsoft has this "vision" that everyone who owns a toaster, and can use a toaster, should own a computer as well. My friends, you walk in the malls, you've talked to people on the street,you've shopped at Walmart, alot of people have no business owning a computer! It is not like running a fucking toaster! The closest thing to this fucking "vision" is webtv.

People! the second most complicated appliance in the average home is a fucking VCR! And you know people who have problems with that!

microsoft and AOL are to blame for this! Their business depends on getting every dipshit/idiot with the cash to believe that using their products is easy enough for a dipshit/idiot!

For the people who think linux will make it into being widespread as workstations, your wrong. People who use workstations in work applications only want to do their job, they dont want to know how to fix anything or make a script that check if some 12 year old backdoored their computer, they just want to do their work and get on with it. Personally i think linux in the state it is in should only be used on servers. Until it is more user friendly thats where its staying in the real world.

Easily 99.99%. Mayyyyybeee because Windows holds the majority of PC's. Just because they've used another OS, that doesn't mean they can't be ignorant. They could have switched to Linux in the terrible days of Win 98, and now call XP a rottting pile of shit without even touching it once.

You must not watch much sci-fi. In the future, everyone has a computer. Granted, it talks and does house chores, but that's basically where the world is headed. This is great though. Cuz I can now become a script kiddy(well one who's a half kiddy, seeks to learn what's behind the magic but can't program shit, and has morals) extremely easily. The massmarket is a preying ground of easy targets, imagine the thrill it must be to snoop around in some idiot's computer and snatch(copy) programs and files that would benefit you(for example a game).

Although my half-kitty brother(used to do such activities) says the thrill is gone eventually.  
 
Can you believe I've never pursued this only because im too fucking Lazy? But hey, it is a gateway to learning and such.
