ok, so heres the truth

My occupation programmer of @Visual Basic@ apps, forgive me for my rudeness.

So lets start the day upgrading the MSlistbox control in my APP because it doesnt even contain a method that will tell me what item is selected (microsoft). I upgrade the control, hmm, something funny, it isnt compatibile, theyve changed all the methods (microsoft). Even a simple method like "additem" has now been renamed huh! (microsoft). So ill start the job of changing every single line of code that now references a NOW undefined method. Oh, but, the list indexes have now changed from being 1 to the listcount, rather than 0 to the listcount, so now I have to go and recode every single error trap to handle this (microsoft).

Take a break.

Ok, so after fixing all this code I now notice a hardware conflict on the machine that affects this app, I check the hardware settings (every single multimedia device is on IRQ 7), oh, IRQ steering deals with this doesnt it?(NOT with hi-end hardware) I mean, I have a degree in electronics but WHO KNOWS, after all, are (microsoft) going to tell us anything about this stupid little IRQ steering system works? I check the net: @get rid of ACPI, reinstall windows, and reassign the IRQs manually..is the accepted response,,

disable ACPI, try to change, its STILL disabled and the winshitOS is putting 3 devices on IRQ 4, although 7, 11 & 2 are now free?? wtf but im not allowed to change this....\(microsoft).

Ok, so lets reinstall the Win2K like MS suggests!! lol, what a piss take, there is years of work i have to back up now on this machine to resolve a simple IRQ conflict. file-copy fails a few times..especially during a search (microsoft).

Take a break.

There I am, reinstalling Windows 2000, all is going great. Dont mind if it deletes a few program files as it goes, after all they are incompatible now for some reason (microsoft).

So were up and running, huh, why is the internet connection failing, why is my machine sending thousands of ICMP packets every second?? It the Welchia worm, gr8. and I ask microsoft how can I resolve this while my bandwidth is CRIPPLED...

of course, a fully featured windows update site loaded with images, XML menus, and scripts that all require FULL access to you PC.

FUCK OFF!!

this is just a day of using microsofts shitty products at work!! losing files, having to reinstall, having to wait hours for pages to load due to worms written that exploit the incompetence of MS's programming team!!

...... cripple MS and Bill Gates (with an Iron Bar preferably) ASAP. No wonder people relate stress to the use of technology when this MONEY NOT QUALITY making business is involved!!!

this is not a topic, JUST A RANT, I cant really see ENOUGH EVIDENCE that MICROSOFT NEED TO BE ERADICATED apart from trolling on this forum!! here is the PROOF a day working with MS..

THE ONLY REASON WE ARE ALL PUTTING UP WITH AND USING THIS SOFTWARE IS BECAUSE MICROSOFT HAVE DOMINATED THE INDUSTRY FOR SO LONG. The dream of being able to use hi-end audio and video apps and hardware in Linux and other OS's needs to BECOME a reality!!! before another script-kiddie finds another way to crash systems (SUCH AS BEING ABLE TO FORMAT THE HARDDISK FROM MSWORD?lol!?) cripples another business, while making microsoft more money... AGHHHH its twisted..

Mac OS X has a lot of hi-end video and audio aps, they're famous for it!

Linux has practically the same kind of drivers from nVidia, Creative and Ati, that Windows has, but Linux doesn't have a good image and audio editor yet (yeah I know, the GIMP, but it's just not as good as Photoshop).

VB.....Yuk! Forgive mine.

I'm glad I don't have to use M$ shit, unless it's for testing purposes. Sounds about what I used to endure on a fairly regular basis.

Stick around.    :D
