Microtel Pc's from Micromart

Microtel pc's now include windows XP alongside Lindows, maybe the fanfare is stating to wane and they have started to realise that even stupid people want what everybody else has and thats xp.  However XP system comes around for $100 more due to the OS being preinstalled.  What funny is they are running XP on VIA C800's, its gonna run nice and slow for them what with the standard 128 RAM, SD ram you understand.  Also i thought i had seen the last of ISA but the motherboard actually have an ISA slot and ONLY 2 PCI slots.  What kind of Mobo's are they selling, everything is integrated as well, 10/100 and gcard?  FUCKING shit, i'd rather buy a second hand P3 with no OS.

They are also now shipping HP laptops with just XP on them, strange really i would of thought they would of put lindows on, not that that is a good idea anyway, just curious about it.

to be honest i would prefer them to sell windows xp machines rather than lindows pcs.

I hope lindows goes bankrupt in the next year. I am glad they did not get screwed by Microsoft for their name but that is the only concession i will give them.
