Im trying to use LinNieghboUrhood to get into an MS Me computer set up to allow sharing of My documents

anyone know what I need for the username and password

not the obvious but rather wich user name do I use

the windows login passwrd
the network group name
-guest-

what name field in windows matches the user name for LinN--

and why is LinNieghborhood spelled without the -U-

Stryker:
what os are you running? most linux distros support smbfs. if you want it easier than the shell, use konqueror...

smb://machinename

and I think

smb://username@machinename (dont know for sure though)

I never heard of "LinNieghboUrhood", i can't help you with it  :(  sorry

I happen to use LinNeighborhood and love it. As to which user name to use i just just the default account name. For my windows 2k machine the username everyone uses is my last name. i just enter my last name in as the user and then my pass and it shows them.
