Frontpage doesn't like TT tags
anphanax:
Thank god I have netscape's composer on my computer(really, I was writing out all my HTML code in NOTEPAD). It has appeared to screw up the spacing in the HTML code itself when opened in notepad, but at least I can use the <TT> tag... This issue with Microsoft also exists in frontpage express 4.x from like 1995\96.. Microsoft has been really quick to add support. I can tell how much they care. I'm just a little annoyed with frontpage.. Doesn't seem like I can trust it to do what I want it to do.

VIM is by far the best HTML editor.
Doctor V:
Frontpage, Notepad...are you by chance using Microsoft Window$? Shame on you. Time for a change.

VIM doesn't have a GUI to aide in creating webpages does it? Just curious because I am working on my webpage and I just started learning html so I do know the code for all the functions yet and dreamweaver seems a little complicated for a newb such as myself. Do you have any recommendations for a program that rivals FrontPage? Open Source perhaps? TIA

VIM's syntax highlighting is the only aid I need for creating web pages.
