WMP 8 sets the new standard
Calum:
Ravuya, this is the fix. Delete Windows XP, then install an older version of Windows. If you are intent on running Winamp, this is the best way to do so that i know of. There's nothing wrong with winamp, it's yr OS that has the problem. That is my humble opinion...
Zombie9920:
For some reason I don't think that Ravuya knows what he is doing. Winamp 2.78 doesn't cause memory leaks in XP(I know this because I use the damn thing to listen to MP3's and CD Audio). You probably have a virus or you don't know how to check your memory in XP so you come to a forum and claim it leaks.
I mean come'on, you are the same guy who said that you need to read a manual to install hardware in another post.

Windows Media Player 8 is great for watching DVD's, MPegs, etc. in full screen especially on a TV because all of the player controls scroll off of the screen where you can't see them until you move your mouse..then the controls pop back up for a few seconds then disappear again after you are done moving your mouse around. I like this because it provides easy navigation without having to see the clutter of the controls throughout the whole movie/video.
