Attemping to remove Outlook Express from XP

Have someone noticed that it is IMPOSSIBLE to remove Outlook Express from WinXP??  If you delete all files in that folder (even when DELETING and not sending to recycle bin), after 10 seconds all files will be MAGICALLY RESTORED.

The only thing missing is a message "YOu are trying to delete Outlook. What where you THINKING?"

It's TRUE!

Seriously, though, it's part of a security mechanism to keep users from deleting important system files. Why Microsoft considers Outlook 'important' is beyond me, though.

I got fed up trying to remove it from Win2000.  It just kept coming back, although not within 10 seconds.

Eventually I just resigned myself to the fact that  MS will force you to have it on their OS, and changed the permissions so nobody could run it.
