Same goes to the people that buy XP for the GUI or because it is the "newest" thing. It is true that alot of people don't want to learn anything new. What is sad is that people accept the poor/medicore preformance in Windows, but won't invest the effort to learn something better.

No kidding.  I can't even get people to use SSH instead of telnet, even after I installed TeraTerm SSH and put a shiny link to it on their desktop.

I get reminded of a quote from Dustin Hoffman after he did "Rain Man."  He said in some ways society is suffering from a form of "social
autism."

time for .. time for windows upgrade... definitely.... course gotta use MS OFFICE... OFFICE...im a very good user....

Oh yes you can.  Just turn off "telnetd" on all of your servers like I did.  They learn really quick from that point on.  And I originally gave users TT w/SSH and have since found Putty/PSCP to be a little cleaner. And the SSH from www.ssh.com is pretty nice too and has a WS_FTP like SCP interface, but it is not free for commercial use.  TT does have some nice features too.

XP is the operating system equivilent of NASCAR or the WWE; Linux is Formula1 or Tae Kwon Do.
Men who allow themselves to be whipped, deserve it!
