simultanious cdr burning

(1/3) > >>

HPC GUY:
some customer who has his machine here, for some ungodly reason wants 2 cdrs in his computer so he can burn at the same time with both of them, what software would support that?

Calum:
and he's using windows?

forget it. tell him to use two different programs (like EZCD Creator and Nero Burning ROM for example) at the same time and then when neither of them will work, he'll have proved how fucking useless the whole excercise was from the start.

that's my (admittedly rather negative) advice.

choasforages:
linux should be able to do it at the sametime, ive nevertested it though

RudeCat7:
I read a long time ago that, Linux was so stable that you could defrag your hard drive and burn a cd at the same time.

Actually I haven't even thought about defragging in Linux. Do I need to do it?

voidmain:
You really don't need to defrag your drive in Linux, and yes, you can burn CDs and go about your business like nothing is going on without fear of making coasters.  And yes you can burn two CDs at the same time in Linux with two CDR drives.
