Ahhhhh fucking windows 98
Gooseberry Clock:
Yeah, once or twice. If I had a spare Pentium, I'd probably give Mandrake another go.
Kintaro:
Do a dual install, and i have slackware running on a 486. Try Red-Hat Linux, you seem to know a bit about computers. So red-hat would be fine..

I don't have any games running on my linux boxes with i810 chipsets, but I remember reading that XF864 was supposed to have OpenGL acceleration on that chipset. Is it just not as good as, say, the GeForce stuff?
Kintaro:
Yes, true but im having trouble with it in Red-Hat 7.2

For maybe four months I dual booted win98se and linux, until one day I gathered the courage and said goodbye to MS software on my pc. I havent looked back since, and have found so many excellent alternatives to MS products available. This route isnt for everyone, but it worked well for me, and its been 10 months MS free.
