PS2 gets a bunch of crappy games that look like cheap anime. Shit like FFX and, Jesus, what a rip, FFX2. Of late, everything that's come out for ShitStation 2 has been a bunch of half-ass vampire games and cheapo fantasy crap. There hasn't even been a good Final Fantasy game since 9. X was a turd, making everything into cheesy cheap anime style. Barring some of the RTS-style games like Final Fantasy Tactics and Disgaea (SP?), PS2 games are a crap pot of crap.

I've just spent the last four months living with a PS2 fanboy, and if I never see one of those shittastic things again, that's fine by me. XBox has well-made games. Even the lesser games for the thing are higher quality than the best PS2 games.

Oh, and guess what else... NO GODDAMN MEMORY CARDS. I FUCKING HATE THOSE THINGS. GIMME A BIG HARD DRIVE ANY DAY

You don't even have any goddamn examples of these "superior xbox only games". If you think DOA Beach Vollyball is a good fucking game then you need to get a foot up your ass, or better yet, an xbox. Or maybe you could go have fun playing Blinx the Time Travelling Cat or whatever the fuck it's called. Let me just give you some examples of GOOD games that are on PS2:

-Grand Theft Auto 3 and Vice City (So good and so popular on the PS2 that they are now BOTH on Xbox!)
-Gran Turismo 3: A-spec (The BEST racing simulator. Period.)
-Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter (Superb quality 3D platformers)
-Metal Gear Solid 2 (Once again, such a hit on PS2 that they put it on Xbox)
-The Tony Hawk Series (I'm not a fan of them but the sales of them should speak for themselves).

Now, please come to the realization that the Xbox is nothing more than a Windows PC with (huge) controllers and is just another of Microsofts MANY attempts to take over a money-making market. I can only hope that they fail this time, but retards like you help them succeed.

I agree, the xbox hasn't had a single stand out game aside from Halo. The ps2 has lead the innovation in the game industry, and the only reason microsoft has any good games, is because they are ports of ps2 games. I admit that the Gamecube is a great system too (and cheap), but it has a long way to go to get away from the "kiddie" image.

X-box is by far the best gaming system out to this date but it needs to play cd-r's and you shouldn't have to but the fucking remote to watch dvd's thats why ps2 has some good parts as does xbox i think they are both the same but you put them together they would be a great system and nobody would have to worry wabout spending extra cash on some fuckin remote. the batteries die right after you buy it wtf is that and the stupid start up screen..damn i just want to play a game not look at the x box logo that whole fucking time it is loading up fuck..

I own an xbox too (it was a gift) and I must say that microsoft wasn't very smart when they decided that it would cost an additional $30 just to watch DVD's. Why couldn't you just use the controller as a remote, like the ps2 can?

yeah, xbox does suck.  but so does every other console out there.  i only bought mine to play halo, and now its out on pc and its better.  i hope they hurry up with the mac version though, but that's beside the point.  computers should be for work and games a distant second, if your so addicted to games, buy a console because thats what they are for.
