Alternatives to M$ optical mouse

Ok, I'm new to the board and anti-MS culture and I'm currently trimming the MS "products" off my computer. I recently got FireFox 1.0, love it. I'm looking for a new email client and would like to try  Open Office. However, I have a MS blue optical mouse that I'm actually quite fond of. I've been thinking about getting a Razer Diamondback mouse someday to replace this one. www.razer.com

I know Logitech makes some decent mice, anyone have any other suggestions?

Mozilla Thunderbird is a rather nice email client.

And Logitech mice are wonderful. You could get that laser one and make all your geeky friends jealous.

Yeah I bought my mouse before Logitech made a name for themselves. Maybe I sound like a dick for saying so but I actually like this mouse.

And I tried Mozilla Thunderbird for email. And if you ever needed another reason to hate M$ get this: My email account is a Hotmail account. For Hotmail accounts to work with an email client (This includes Outlook and OE) I would have to "upgrade" my account for 20 dollars a year.

Typical, they only put something out for free when they need to kill competition.

Logitech.  Period.  Although I wouldn't worry about the IntelliMouse anytime soon, it's hardly a cornerstone of the Microsoft monopoly.   ;)

I've been using a Logitech dual optical mouse happily for two years now.  The single-button Apple promouse wasn't up to gaming, and I need a scroll wheel.
