Keyboards and mice...
« on: 11 December 2002, 21:32 »
Is there anywhere today where anyone can actually buy a keyboard without those frigging microsoft keys?  (and the stupid menu button)  The sight of _THAT_ symbol on my keyboard (and _THAT_ word on my optical mouse) are really pissing me off.  Theyre my only remaining ties to microcrap...  so has anyone heard of a keyboard with no winkey!

LOL!  :D    :D    :D
Where did you get that?
If it wasnt just a winkey with the winsymbol sanded off and tux shoved on I would be ecstatic but anyway that is sweet!
Where can I find a transfer of Tux but?

Hey Faust that white box with the pencil at the top of your post - it's called the edit button. press it  on one of your posts when you are logged in - you'll be amazed.

Hey that's fine, just some friendly advice.

Refalm - Is that a German keyboard or a dutch one?

I wish they had them for Logitech keyboards. I don't wanna lose my cordless k/board, I can't stand to use a corded one these days it feels wrong.

You can buy it as a German keyboard or separate as Linux-keys...

I noticed the Windows XP logo on the Compaqs at my school. What do you Linux-heads who used to use Wintel do about that? That and the key would annoy me to hell. It's bad enough having "Microsoft" srawled across the top of my mouse.

As far as the keys, I rip them out and shove epoxy down the holes (sort of like the extraction of a painful molar). I rip the logos off and replace them with "Penguin Inside" logos.
Someone please remove this account. Thanks...
