there are many other passages that imply that only eating vegetables is a punishment, and there are also many passages in the bible (old and new testament) where eating meat is important, or worthy of anticipation and enjoyment.

I have been a vegetarian since i was born and have many reasons to continue being one, but i don't look for reasons where there are none, i'm happy to say.
