Nintendo Ahead of XBOX for 2003
Mandrake:
I never liked Nintendo because of little kids being the focus of there consoles (Pokemon, Mario etc) - but as you say, the PS2 is marketed at young adults, and teenagers, which makes it more popular with me.
The X-box... that just sucks. $30 for the remote control to watch DVDs? The PS2 does that out of the box.
idlepython3:
hell, i wouldn't even own one if it wasn't for halo and the upcoming sequel. ps2 is definitely the winner in market shares, and certainly in game selection. i got the ps2 for that reason, rpg's and socom and ncaa football. i just wish microsoft didn't have to buy the rights to that damn game to put it on a piece of shit console. well what am i gonna do, wait 3 more years to play it on mac like with the first one? no, i think i'll just paint over the xbox with a ps2 ensignia and play it anyway.
hm_murdock:
PS2 sucks shit because of poor hardware design and a swath of lackluster games
oh, and shitty ass non-antialiased graphics

Yeah and 8 bit nintendo sucks because it doesnt have cool graphics.....lol
Jimmy you should know that graphics mean nothing on a system. You say lackluster games, but every system has a nice share of lackluster games, difference between them and ps2 is it has more good games and original titles. Gamecube holds its own very well too, but xbox is sorely lacking on good games. Sales help prove this point about games and the top selling games are always for PS2, GC, or GBA.

wow they sold even less then gamecube  thats why they dont make profit on xbox :D im curious if they will sell many xbox 2s
